Marvelous Szentendre, Hungary

As soon as you arrive in Szentendre, you will not need a map. The streets with their magical smell will immediately make you walk faster and faster towards the Kürtőskalács also known as chimney cake - your desired destination.😋

Not only will the scent take you towards the sweet-smelling streets, but also towards the amazing picturesque houses which beautify this small town in Hungary.

Szentendre is magical in every sense, the atmosphere is especially spellbinding during the Christmas season.

Mulled wine with various amazing flavours, delectable hot chocolate, and various cupcakes are only part of the miracle. 😍

Although cold in winter, you will not feel that at all as there is a warm atmosphere in every corner of this small enchanting town. It is so cozy that you will feel it as your home.

Additional charm to the miracle adds the beautiful Danube with its irreplecable charm.

It is no wonder that this town with its picturesque outlook attracted numerous artists.

Szentendre abounds with a plethora of museums and galleries as well. We visited the Marzipan Museum.

Visiting the Marzipan Museum was a fascinating experience. I was impressed by the art created from such a structure.

For instance, we saw the Hungarian Parliament made from 60kg marzipan.

Here is another example: on the right, Michael Jackson created from marzipan, on the left, my boyfriend, not created from marzipan but equally as sweet.😍

What is interesting about Szentendre is that it has a significant number of Serbian population. Therefore, there is a Serbian Orthodox church in the town.

This small town is full of cuteness and rich history, you will definitely fall for it the moment you visit it.

Szentendre calls everyone who has a desire to feel like being in a story from a book.
