Dazzling adventure in Sofia, Bulgaria

Girls might get angry, but no girl in Bulgaria is as beautiful as Sofia is. As soon as your eye catches the first glimpse, a new adventure begins!

Sofia is the capital city of Bulgaria and here I am to capture the atmosphere of our indelible adventure.

The whole itinerary was organised by my friends who live in Sofia and are perfectly familiar with this remarkable beauty.

First, they wanted to make us happy with a warm welcome and led us to one of the most elegant restaurants in the city.

The restaurant is called Happy Bar & Grill so expect nothing else but to leave the place with enormous happiness. The food was impeccably palatable and the atmosphere more than graceful and aesthetic. I personally enjoyed every second spent there!

In the aftermath, we passed by one of the largest Orthodox Cathedrals in the world, Alexander Nevski Cathedral!

You should definitely grasp the sight of this Neo-Byzantine piece of architecture.

It is dedicated to the Russian prince and military leader, Alexander Nevski and all the Russian soldiers who died during the Russian-Turkish War from which the result was that Bulgaria was free from Ottoman rule.

Then, we went to Independence Square (Ploshtad Nezavisimost) which is one of the main squares in Sofia and a popular place for both the tourists and locals.

I don't know whether it has to do with the name, but you will certainly feel complete freedom from anything that bothers you for at least a few moments while enjoying the beauties that surround you.

Strolling across the Sofia streets, the next day we came across a botanical garden so we decided to go inside. We didn't regret it one bit since we had an opportunity to walk through various plants and flowers which gave us a good life refreshment. It was a funny, green experience.

The best coffees by all means are at Starbucks so we didn't miss the chance to pass by and taste the most recognizable coffee in the world. As expected, it was more than just divine!

Our day was spiced with an even more fun activity - bowling. It was an activity that was filled with laughter and unforgettable amusement!

We first didn't know how to play and therefore it was even funnier. Eventually, we got it and it was a rollercoaster of who would come up on top.

I absolutely enjoyed the whole game and recommend you gather your friends to go as expeditiously as possible!

The next day in Sofia 30.07.2023 was one of my favourite days in my life! We were about to go to a concert performed by one of the most popular pop-rock bands in the world!

Yeeee, it's Imagiiiiine Dragoonsss!!! They came for the first time in Sofia! We were all super excited and couldn't wait for the night to come.

And, when the hour struck, I couldn't believe both my eyes and ears. I was finally attending the concert of my favourite band that I had in my headphones for years. Now, I was hearing them live!

It was more than magic, the atmosphere was so... indescribable! My eyes were full of happy tears as soon as they started and I had goosebumps throughout the whole concert...

They were on a World Mercury Tour, their last album but they also performed all their hit songs from the past years! It was dreamlike! I can't capture the magical atmosphere either through words or pictures...

Sofia offers unfading moments that will blend in harmony into your life book. These moments will grow and grow together with you and will become a unique and unerasable story. Exist for moments like these!
